NCP Now Offers Telehealth Visits For Anywhere In Texas

Hello to our NCP family,

Natural Choice Pediatrics is now offering Telehealth visits for all kinds of sick appointments!

Here are the details for a Telehealth appointment:

• Telehealth appointments can be sent to insurance or can be as cash pay also.

• If cash pay a Pre-collection of the fee will be charged at the time the appointment is made. Fees are $149 depending on the type of visit.

• You can make Telehealth appointments by calling our office, or you can schedule an appointment submission through your patient portal. You and your child will then conduct a virtual visit with one of our providers accessed through your patient portal via your computer or smartphone.

• Your provider may order additional testing to be done at our office or a local lab if necessary.

• Your provider may also call in prescription medications and determine the treatment plan for your child that will then be available on your patient portal.

• There is a $55 cancellation fee if a Telehealth appointment is cancelled with less than a 24 hour notice.

• We will not offer any refunds on Telehealth visits.

The following types of visits are available for Telehealth at this time:

• Fever, cough/colds, nasal congestion, sinus infections

• Flu, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, reflux, colic

• Allergies, headaches, sinus issues, pink eye

• Rashes, eczema, acne, possible UTIs, lice, pinworms

• Warts, cuts, burns, bites

• Medication refills, lab reviews

NOTE: Wheezing, difficulty breathing, asthma flare ups, anaphylactic reactions, young infants with fever and/or respiratory issues must be assessed in office or an pediatric urgent care/emergency department and not via a Telehealth visit.

Additional Information

• Cash-pay prices for Telehealth visits are $149.

• We will pre-collect cash-pay fee at the time the appointment is scheduled. 

• You must be a current patient and have patient portal access in order to have the Telehealth visit due to HIPAA compliance regulations.

• You must have video and sound capability via your smartphone or computer (simply sign in to your patient portal on your phone or computer).
