Christie was born in Las Cruces, NM in 1978. Her parents moved to Oklahoma when she was two years old. Christie grew up outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma in the small town of Owasso. In her younger years, Christie’s passion for children was always apparent, from volunteering at church in the children’s ministries to being the neighborhood babysitter. Additionally, she was the nanny to her cousins when she was as young as 12 years old.
After Christie graduated from high school, she attended the University of Tulsa where her father also graduated. She enjoyed the challenging curriculum and made many lifelong friends. Christie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tulsa in 2002 as well as a Minor in Early Childhood Intervention (focusing on ages 0-3 years). She then moved to the Dallas area and attended Texas Woman’s University (TWU) for three years, where she received her Master of Science degree in 2005 while completing the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. Christie is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB).
While attending TWU, Christie worked at Medical City Dallas as a charge nurse on the pediatric unit, learning many skills that would serve her well in her future in healthcare.
Christie was married in September 2011 to her husband, Bruce, and they live in Frisco, Texas. She has a beautiful daughter and three amazing step-children. Her parents, sister and family live close by as well, where she frequently visits her three cutie-pie nephews. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing games, baking, watching movies, reading, listening to true crime podcasts, hanging out with friends, visiting with her family, trying new restaurants, and attending sporting events, especially Dallas Cowboys games. She and her family attend Hope Fellowship Church in Frisco.
Christie worked closely with Dr. Lauren Feder in 2008, a well-known homeopathic physician in Los Angeles. She has also worked with a few integrative, holistic pediatricians in the DFW area for many years as part of Shine Pediatrics and Healthy Kids Pediatrics. Christie helped create and develop Shine Pediatrics with Dr. Randy Naidoo before starting Natural Choice Pediatrics in 2019. Christie's experience includes general pediatrics and pediatric wellness, vaccine friendly, pediatric holistic and alternative healthcare, as well as allergy/immunology, pulmonology, gastrointestinal and dermatology (skin, eczema, asthma, gut/GI Issues). Christie's years of education and experience add a new dimension to the Natural Choice Pediatrics team.
Christie is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP), American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA), the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM), National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) local and national chapters and has completed an eight-month coursework program for the Center for Education and Development of Clinical Homeopathy (CEDH) by Boiron in 2019.

Christie Potter, APRN, CPNP-PC
Annalise Clayborne was born in New York but arrived in Texas as quickly as possible. She moved to Austin at two years of age, grew up there and attended Westwood High School. Her interest in medicine began as a teenager when, while in high school, she visited the National Institute of Health. She was introduced to the field of medicine and, since that time, has had a passion for taking care of children. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Science in child development in 1999. She then began working with children and families as the health coordinator for a Head Start program providing care to underserved children. Following that, she returned to school to become a registered nurse in 2008 and immediately began working as a neonatal ICU nurse at St. David’s Hospital in Austin, Texas.
Annalise returned to the University of Texas at Austin and obtained her master’s degree in nursing in 2014. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in primary care and has her certification through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). In addition, she is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP).
In 2014, Annalise moved from her hometown and settled in Frisco. She worked for several years at All About Children Pediatrics and then Shine Pediatrics before joining the Natural Choice Pediatrics team. She loves getting to know her patients and parents and helping them raise healthy, productive young adults.
Annalise is married and has three children, one daughter and twin boys. She also has a Pomksy (Pomeranian/Husky) named Miko. She stays active in the community as a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and is a member of One Community Church in Allen.

Rebecca, aka “Becca” was born and raised in Rochester, NY, where she earned her first degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Her studies and experiences clicked in such a way that she desired to expand her capabilities to a more well-rounded healthcare acumen. Therefore, she enrolled in the University of Rochester’s accelerated nursing program and quickly obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Becca spent her first three years as an RN in psychiatry. During that time, she continued pursuing her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) degree at Stony Brook University. She achieved her degree and is now working in a job she loves as a certified PNP. As a Nurse Practitioner, Becca began work at Shine Pediatrics. After a few years there, she joined the Natural Choice Pediatrics team and is a perfect fit.
Becca now lives in Frisco where she and her husband live with their son, and are excited for this chapter of their lives living closer to her family in Texas. Becca completed an eight-month coursework program for the Center for Education and Development of Clinical Homeopathy (CEDH) by Boiron in 2019.
